Upcoming Hungarian Events in the U. S.
We hope you are able to take in the sights, sounds, and flavors of a
Hungarian festival in your area. We plan to promote them now through
the end of summer so if you are a part of a Hungarian group or club
and you would like some free advertising, be sure to get some info to

June 15th: The Akron (OH) Hungarian American Club is celebrating 90
years on June 15th and we are all invited to the party! Please click

June 23: Buckeye Road Reunion from 12-6 If you grew up on Buckeye Road
then your neighbors will be there to reminisce about those days!
Hosted at the Hungarian Cultural Center of NE Ohio at 12027 Abbot

June 26-30 and July 3-7: Hungary is a featured country at the Folklife
Festival in Washington DC http://bit.ly/mm_smith
this summer. Folks, this is a very big deal! If you aren’t going to
get to Hungary any time soon, you need to get to this event that will
be FILLED with the sights and sounds and aromas of Hungary with a
variety of traditional artisans, performers, and foods.
July 13 & 14: The 6th Annual Gulyas Festival (in the Chicago area) at
the Norridge United Hungarian Church of Christ in Norridge IL. Please
